Golfing Trips on
The Bellarine......
The Bellarine Peninsula in Southern Victoria boasts traditional links and tree-lined golf courses, which are amongst Australia's best and most challenging. Barwon Heads, Ocean Grove and Queenscliff all have sandbelt layouts.
Portarlington Golf Club
Well presented layout with excellent, fast greens. Set on well-drained slopes
amidst solid established gums in a decidedly tranquil setting.
Curlewis Golf Club
A stimulating challenge to every level of golfer on this rolling terrain, 6106
metre par 72 layout. Curlewis offers a taste of British heathland golf with wide
rolling fairways and large, fast greens.
13th Beach Golf Links
Rated by Golf Australia Magazine as one of the Top 25 Golf Courses in Australia.
A premium golf course set in the undulating sand dunes adjacent to Thirteenth
Beach, a residential precinct and open to the public.
Queenscliff Golf Club
Situated on Swan Island, one of the most unique golfing locations in Victoria. A
very well maintained "sand belt" course situated just off shore from
Queenscliff. Green Fees players most welcome.
Clifton Springs Golf Club
The course layout demands accurate driving and precise iron play with almost all
fairways flanked by mature gums. Testimony to the golf challenge presented at
Clifton Springs is that very few scores below par are returned at their popular
Pro-Am event each year.
Barwon Heads Golf Club
Famous in Australian golfing circles, nestled in the dunes at the mouth of the
Barwon River. Traditional links course where the elements of nature join with
the beauty of the coastline.
Lonsdale Golf Club
Just outside Queenscliff is this highly rated 'older style' layout with many
golfing challenges. The treacherously fast greens are a feature of this
links-like layout with its fast-running fairways and wind-affected situation.
Ocean Grove Golf Club
Bellarine Lakes Golf Club
Opened in 1993 Bellarine Lakes is a challenging layout enjoyed by golfers of all
standards. The golf course backs onto Reedy Lakes wetlands which has an
abundance of bird life from grass parrots to swans. |
